3/14/06 Variations on Hope

This week, two of our families recieved news that altered their hopes and dreams for their missing loved one.

The family of James Farrence, Jr, recieved word that remains found near Scranton, PA did indeed belong to their beloved Jimmy. Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of his death.

For those who do, please pray for his family.

I want to thank his cousin, Kristen, for never giving up in the search for Jimmy.

The family of Maura Murray now has confirmation that Maura's story will be shown on ABC's 20/20 this Friday evening, March 17th, at 10pm EST.

The special is called "Vanished Coeds -- "20/20" investigates cases that have shocked college towns from coast to coast. "

We hope that this will generate leads in the case and help bring Maura home.

My thoughts and prayers go out to both of these families! I know how long Maura's family has been trying to get her name and face in the national media. I am just sorry that it is still necessary after all this time.

I also pray that Jame's family can find some comfort knowing that he is at peace.
