Emma was found safe in Chicago. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way.
For those in the Chicago area, particularly downtown, please be on the lookout for 16 year-old Emma Wasserman. Email this blog entry to anyone you know who is in Chicago, asking for their assistance. Her parents are extremely concerned and have requested our assistance. At this time, LE is not recommending media awareness.
Here are the details on Emma:
D.O.B.: March 30, 1990
Date Missing: July 22, 2006
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Hazel
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Emma has shoulder-length brown hair. She sometimes wears it back in a pony-tail. Emma sometimes wears glasses. Both ear lobes and cartilage are pierced.
CLOTHING DESCRIPTION: Emma was wearing blue jeans, a charcoal grey t-shirt with an elaborate cross with an eyeball in the middle, and a bright Kelly Green hooded sweatshirt with white paint splash designs when she disappeared. She was carrying a brown leather purse with a shoulder strap.
CIRCUMSTANCES OF DISAPPEARANCE: Emma was last seen around 11 pm on July 22, 2006 at Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. She was with a 40 year-old black male and a 19 year-old white female.
NOTE: Emma has been diagnosed as clinically depressed with an unspecified mood disorder and is possibly bipolar. She is also polysubstance chemically dependent and needs to receive treatment.
