12/06/05 Rain, Plans, and Hope

They say when it rains, it pours. Today, I've had several new families of the missing contact us. I wish it wasn't "raining" in that respect.

This altered my plans to work on and post one solution for the problems outlined in my recent series. With the missing, there are no plans. It's not an 8-5 job. I will not post this when I cannot do justice to it time-wise. That day is not today. The families come first.

They need the gift of hope. They need to be empowered and know that there are things they can do. It is not hopeless.

In the past week, we've received now two big boosts of hope: Erik Buran's homecoming, and now James Rowe's sighting. Be sure to read the post prior for updates about James and how you can help.

I'm going to bed. Tomorrow is another day and another opportunity to give the gift of hope. It's also another day closer to answers for those of us who wait.

May God continue to provide you with the physical and mental strength that you must surely need, not only in your search for Jason, but also in your quest to help others.

You are such a blessing - hoping that you have a good night's restful sleep.
